yknow its a wild time when you make a warriors AU of your D&D partyAnyway this is Kestrelfang (left) and Pebbledust (right). Pebbledust is the son of kittypets and inherited their silky fur, good looks and superiority complex. Kestrelfang is a kittypet-turned-rogue, and came to clan life well into adulthood. She was nearly three times the age of the youngest apprentices, but she pushed through her training and became a warrior. Her and Pebbledust are known not to get along, and often sneer at one another relentlessly. It's all in good fun though, and though neither one will admit it they are the closest of friends.
I think in this AU clans are pretty open to youngins coming and going, and so at some point Kestrelfang and Pebbledust left their clan in pursuit of adventures elsewhere, eventually bumping into and forming the group they have currently. I think the pair are also half-siblings, but neither one realizes it or could care? I dunno.
Kestrelfang is based off our moon elf ranger/rogue Xandri, and Pebbledust is based off my drow wizard, Melchior.
It's fun to imagine things, and its fun to draw cats!

Thank you! Warriors is strange, but a lot of fun, especially revisiting it now. If you ever want to give the series a shot and dip your toes into it, I'd recommend "Tallstar's Revenge"! It's a standalone book in the series and gives you a good insight into the world it inhabits. Also Talltail is the closest thing Warriors has to an LGBT protagonist so yeah! Would recommend!
