I think I have said many times that Nicole has waited long enough for her story to be told. I am now in the planning stage to do just that. This is a promo image for the new story. Nicole has a lovely new crossbow and couldn't wait to take someone out with it - for a decent sum of money, of course.
But who is Nicole? How did she become an assassin? Where did she learn her skills? What does she need the money for?
....all will be revealed...maybe.
I have done a lot of work on finalizing Nicole's outfit. I'd love some feedback on it. You know that I err enough on the side of 'realism' that Nicole can't go on missions in short shorts, a crop top and high heels. It's not showing a lot of skin or cleavage, but I am still pretty happy with it. The models I picked and customized go quite nicely together - you'd think they were a commercially-released set. I don't mind admitting that Cate Archer's main outfit in No-One Lives Forever 2 was a big influence (did the crossbow give it away?). And we all know that Cate is a hottie. Hopefully, Nicole can be hotter!
Things are still at the planning stage now so, if you have any ideas or wishes for Nicole's story then please post them here. This week I watched John Woo's THE KILLER for some ideas, and I am planning to re-watch the DVD of Najica Blitz Tactics as well. If you imagine those blended in with No-One Lives Forever 2 well you have something a little bit eclectic that might just work, if I can pull it off.
Oh, as before, there's a prize for the first person to correctly spot in which city Nicole is taking out her latest mark.

I'm a big fan of your works! I find Nicole still doesn't have her own story, maybe we need another Torqual's Angel. One different from Penelope.

Superb scene!. Her outfit is really great: at the same time discreet and classy, while remaining feminine enough. But it looks like it's for cold times, no? Is Spring that cold, in Australia?

Well, with the low sun I was picking this for a wintry scene but yes, when I shot this picture in October 2011 the weather was mild.
Nicole does need a coat to hide her array of throwing knives, etc though. Glad you like it anyway!

It could be retro inspired by military clothes of the 1920s, 30s or 40s, but the mini-trench is a very fashionable item if you have the figure for it, she certainly does.

Anyways, as a Nicole fan and an armchair weapons/tactics junkie I'd like to offer some suggestions, although as I mentioned before, my ideas may be somewhat dark or too "real life" for what I assume will be primarily light, glamourous pics and/or sexy, but tasteful KO shots. I dunno whether you read the short Nicole story I sent you some time back but if you did, that's the way I sort of envisioned her... Not really for light hearts 
In any case, if you wanna watch anime with "assassin" themes, I'd suggest "Crying Freeman" and "Golgo 13". For bad ass/tough chick gun-bunnies "Ghost In The Shell" and "Black Lagoon". These might not fit the NOLF 2 genre (funny game by the way, particularly the LOL worthy wheelchair dude towards the end

The neck problem is still under treatment - some progress has been made, but it's a long haul.
I am open to all suggestions, and I did read your Nicole story that you sent me by note. Actually I thought I had replied. It was well written and quite ironic but it did cross one line that I won't in terms of portraying violence or harm to minors. I'll check out those movies you mentioned and, if you want to send more ideas or requests then please feel free to do so here or by note.

Yeah, sorry if that upset you dude. That's why I don't think most of my suggestions would go down too well with your art. They're much too "real world" as far as the grittiness and violence of assassins and murder are concerned. Plus the practicality and discretion of the profession doesn't really lend itself to aesthetically pleasing pictures anyway
Based on the irony of the ending of my story you can pretty much guess what my take would be on what happens to Nicole and her daughter and how that would factor into my vision for her present day personality... Sort of a "Dark souled assassin seeking redemption" type of character. Coincidentally much like Chow Yun Fatt's character in "The Killer".
Anyway, as I said, please check out the anime series and movies. They aren't panty fests like Najica and Aika but may provide some insight and even if not; they are certainly entertaining enough in their own right. Here're links for you (and anyone else interested) to watch them gratis:

Yeah, I know, some things in real life are just too horrific and shouldn't be seen by anyone. These are the kind of things which keep me up at night and make me fear humans far more than any ghost or demon out there.
Err... Technically, they're not REALLY "movies" per se... Most of them are series. Eternal gratitude?
Also, if you have ANY questions with regard to the technical aspects of Nicole's profession, more than likely I'd prove useful. Have a great weekend dude and WATCH GITS!

Will you be doing a 3D picture with story description underneath like my Bethany Hunter series?
Do you plan to create storyboard frames & tell the tale with balloons like my 3D Lara Croft Comic?
Or will you employ the same format of text-based story & the occasional accompanying image as in Outfoxed?

This is what I am currently chewing over. It's probably going to be the first option, same as Ciara's Egyptian Nightmare. I have had people complain about bubbles ruining pictures - but never had anyone complain that there WEREN'T bubbles on a picture.
