First let me say I am sorry for the late comment, now I really love your train pics, this one looks like a very old boy, has a lot of class to it, I really like the style of that locomotive, very well done

This particular locomotive is an anachronism. It was completed in 2008 at a cost of several million pounds. Tornado is a Peppercorn Class A1.
All of the original Peppercorn class locomotives were built in 1948/49 but had been scrapped by 1966 as a result of a switch to diesel and electric traction.
A group of enthusiasts decided to build a new one from scratch and Tornado was the result.
