That's correct I have the Intuos 4 Large. I learned to do digital art and animation from a very long project where I could only use a laptop touchpad.
I was like, okay, I know I want a tablet now. There's got to be something better than this! And it helped that I had spent a really long time working with Flash CS4 and developing a useful skill with a touch pad first.
But it's really artist skill that matters so much more than the tablet or programs used! I think *Daesiy recently did a journal on this topic. You can't buy skill or talent at art, that only comes from practice. Having the 12.8 by 8 inch versus 6.2 by 3.9 inch workspace is an advantage, but practice and dedication to improvement help a lot more. I just went and got those numbers off their site and realized you're in Canada. /METRIC FAIL/
anyway... it's convenient but not everything! I really think your textured and vibrant style is what sets your art apart.
