Description The fruits of the height of my DHMIS phase last year- that sugar high lead to me still knowing 80% of all of the song lyrics to this day

The style here was inspired by a webcomic online called "Adventures in Lurning"! If you're interested I'm sure you could find it online somewhere. Some of the art here is practically fanart of that series, nonetheless.

I also used to ship Digital Time

You know, I'm surprised by how fluid and lifelike you draw noodle arms. ^V^
It really adds on to these guys' quirky natures within DHMIS, making them all look rather convincingly like a cartoon show! 'u'

Of course, this is fan-art for a fan-comic series that has quality drawings that have the same feel as what I'm obtaining right now, but still, this sketch by itself, though pre-made, is rather of high quality. ^v^

Noodle arms are great fun!! It does take a bit of practise to make sure that the limbs don't bend too squiggly snd seem anatomically incorrect.

The whole style of DHMIS- even the felt puppets- is so unique and quirky. It's much more fun than you would expect to draw anthropomorphic clocks and notebooks! Because of that It's not surprising to see some really clever fan comics around the series.

Yep!  What did you intend for her to do, anyway?

At the time I was REALLY obsessed with DHMIS, so I wanted to use her in an original animated fan episode sort of thing? Heh, I even have some plans of the different scenes in one of my sketchbooks. I guess I grew out of the obsession before I was brave enough to start. It's safe to say that the concept won't go anywhere unless I get back into DHMIS that crazily again!

She's really cute though!  I'm an absolute sucker for fluffy looking characters like her!  She looks like a really old doll to me, with all the stiches!  Though she doesn't look like she fits into the world of DHMIS.  All of the characters in that series have eyes akin to Sesame Street, or some variant of those eyes.  Without those eyes, it doesn't feel as though she can live in that world.  She's also more human than most of the other teachers in that series.  From what I can remember, all of the teachers were just objects (or in some cases, other animals) that looked like they had arms and legs clumsily slapped onto them.  As was the aesthetic for most living objects in children's shows such as the ones that DHIMS is trying to imitate.  In fact, with her more human looking design, she could fit in pretty well with our main protagonists (Yellow guy, red guy, and duck).  Though that's not to say that this design was a waste of time!  She's very cute and incredibly nostalgic!  Maybe you cold put her in your cast of aliens!  I think she would fit best in with the series staring that robot sheep, she wouldn't be very out of place in that world considering how abstract the aliens tend to get over there!  She could... Like... Come from a planet of pillow people, or something... The telescope would be able to fit well there too!  In the series with the robot sheep, not the pillow planet.

Ah, she was made to be a little different from the rest on purpose. While yes, all the teachers do have the plastic eyes, I thought that it might look a little too odd on a hat. They are actually theoretically an actor in a costume- such as Meat Man. They are an amalgam of different clothes! The clumsy aspect of this one would have to be the mismatched clothing and the sideways-sewn face on the chest of the teacher- along with the huge sleeve that they have to drag around everywhere. You could argue that a pile of clothes is also "just objects"

All in all I think I'm just trying to explain that the design of the character imo is cool and pretty final along with their concept?? Thank you for the feedback though! Good food for thought!

Very soundly put, this teacher sounds just as off kilter as all the others!  I have a thing with things being "cannon" to something, specifically with the designs of characters.  And sorry about trying to convince you to move the character somewhere it doesn't belong.  Moreover, I may have done part of that with the intention of living through your actions of changing the character, as I like the more poofy and cute aspects of her.  I was a little too shortsighted to realize that I could have just created that kind of a character myself, and for that I apologize.
