Description
So this, if anything, is an overall culmination of everything I've achieved over the last year and a half on my time here. This piece standalone makes me really proud of how much my skills have grown, but it's also a reminder to all of my precious ocs that I love so mUCH!! Gotta admit... you have a pretty impressive amount of incredible designs for all of these peeps. It's astounding to see how much one single person can create with such a creative mind!
All these characters, so many different looks, feel, colors, styles... and yet it all feels at home together.
You've definitely come a long way Kaylen, from when you were first starting out to when I first found you with that UnknownSpy fanart/comic, to now. It's crazy how much a single year can develop a single person's skills this quickly.
... Honestly, I really don't know what I can say that I haven't already said before with the many other works you've made. Heck, I've been singing the same praises about your art over and over and over again, that it feels like that's all I ever do. ^^'

Thank youuuu //uwu/// it means a ton that you think I've improved so much! Every few deviations I try to top myself, and the same few I learn new mistakes and missteps from. The forever cycle of improvement, hopefully!

Improvement is a cycle of finding the problems, fixing them with a new piece, and then finding the problems again in said piece and so-on. Knowing you, you've probably gone through this time and time again, so it's no wonder why you improved so quickly. And it's great that you always want to top yourself, to be better than you already are. It's a mindset I wish I could have constantly. ^^
However, just don't push yourself too far with it, otherwise... well, obviously, it would lead directly to ideas such as doubting that you'll be able to achieve it again, which isn't exactly something that would help one bit.
Well, though I found you through that comic, it wasn't exactly the reason why I started watching you. It was somewhat because of your fascination with SU, however, that only contributed slightly to my decision. When I watch/follow somebody, I generally think about the quality of the art, how they improved from their past few pieces, and where exactly it'll go from then on in terms of improvement. Although, in some special cases, it's because I just find the art to be aesthetically pleasing, really impressive and/or inspiring and such... ... ...

In your case though, it definitely was your OCs. I don't know what it is about them, but the amount of effort, heart, and soul that you put into them is just incredible!! ^U^
Especially with your Raptor OCs, MAN that was that candy to my eyes. 'U'
I love it when people are able to think up of their own characters instead of just making art of other things. It shows that they're willing to go beyond what others normally do, and test themselves with what they've learned out of purely just experience, fun, curiosity, etc.

I where not avare that antlion was THAT small. But it makes sence, since he's a hexian (wich is based of insects right?)

Yep, Hexians are technically the ancestors of insects on Earth! Not exactly tiny, but usually no bigger than 3 feet. Every time I draw him I have at least one "should I transform him larger??" moment before I tell myself that he is smol a la mode.

Holly heck this is??? So??? Cool??? The shading is beautiful end the lineart is amazingly clean. I love how you positioned the characters and how they interact with one another, some of them hiding behind others or sitting oh top of them. I enjoy that you managed to make a background that doesn't take away from a big piece like this as well. All in all, this is definitely one of my favorite "group photos" of anyone I have seen so far.

Really love the composition in this! From all of your tiny characters at the bottom (you holding psaw is SO CUTE YES), to all of your bigger OC's being at the top (really liking the ominous shadow creature covering the top of the page). IT'S JUST PERFECTION

Yess I was really trying to top myself with the composition in this one! It wasn't just about drawing all of the characters together, but also making them have contact with each other and react. Overcast and Fost at the top there really helped with the look; praise the big ol' ocs!

Well, it's nice that you made all of your OC's react like that! Kinda makes them seem like one big family, then just a couple of random characters put into one category that most other artist perceive OC's to be.
