Description
These are character concepts of Hexian spiders and how the subspecies would generally look (check out my Psaw-related Deviations to understand the whole alien race thing). I think the character gradually got worse, so I finished with three. It was fun to research cool spiders though!
Huntsman: Huntsman Spiders are the largest of the arachnid family, and so the same with the alien race. They are tall and lean, furry, and brutal hunters. Using custom arrows, Huntsman can flex their arms into a bow and fire.
Silkhenge: So these little spiders IRL are known for making a fence structure around their eggs which resembles Stone Henge (thus the name). These Hexians are small and fragile, but carry unusually strong webbing. Their job is to create egg fences around eggs as a safeguard.
Netcaster: These spiders are also called "Ogre-Faced Spiders", which may or may not result as an attribute to the Hexian version. Netcasters have ludicrously long and slender legs, which work like sewing needles as they carefully fabricate nets to trap aliens. They choose to be more sanitary and clean, and are perfectionists.
So there they are!
