Being in October, near Halloween, I thought to depict the most popular vampire ever. To be honest, he wasn't a count but a prince, and his name was Vlad. Dracula is a surname, which means "son of the dragon", mostly because his father was a member of the Order of the Dragon. However, because of his brutality towards the Turks that were invading his territory, that surname took another meaning, which is "son of the devil". For having protected the Romanians against the Turkish invasion, he is considered a national hero in Romania. The legend about his vampiric nature came out because his corpse wasn't found in his official grave. It is a popular opinion that the prince made his burial place unknown in order not to have the body desecrated by his enemies.
