Description
Sam confronts Muriel to know Loa's whereabouts.
She learns his true intention was to make Loa leave out of fear she gets in serious danger again.
Muriel believes it is the team's fault for not sticking together and protecting her. As such, he's grown a distrust towards Thunder Force and took action.
Samantha's origins also makes Muriel uneasy, for very obvious reasons..so he is indeed very tense at the moment.
Now we see a rare sight from Muriel: Frustration and hatred.
Using Samantha for this month gave a chance to explore these two characters relationship, and to grow on their distrust and prejudices towards another.
This is only the start and already, we can see Muriel is glad to announce that Loa is out of their reach. To show it in Samantha's face.
Secretly plotting in their backs Muriel? That can get you arrested.
..not that you care.

I love Muriel's contempt for Sam here - very well written because she doesn't actually SAY it, but it comes across really clearly. In fairness, TF did a really bad job of looking after Loa, but not really their fault considering everything they've been through! Looking forward to reading on.... so I will! (This is the one good thing about taking so long to reply to my Inbox!)

Oh yeah... this is going to go very very well. I know exactly which thing Muriel just said that Samantha is the most pissed off about. Loa seeking protection? Nope, she can accept it even if she's irritated at a time like this when they need all the help they can get. No, no, it's this gem:
"Don't you see? There's nothing for her here."
Yeaaaaah, Sam's not going to like that, especially coming from an angel.

Yeah, she's pretty capable of biting her tongue to an extent, if she feels the need. Though I do like the daggers she's glaring right back at him.
