Upd: Thank you for all kind words! I love you, guys! So sorry, but I can't answer to all of you, and I must give a little annotation to this piece. This is not historical scene, it is fiction. It's not Russia, Mongolia, Kazakhstan or China. It is my litte fantasy around of asian people and traditional clothing, a part of illustration for fantasy story wrotten by me and me friend. Sorry, but you can't read it eather. 8))
Next time I think I must show some of traditional russian costume...

This is beautiful and it's so inspiring. This makes me feel like such an incredible story is lurking behind such a seemingly "mundane," task of tea. I can almost feel the cold and wish I, too, could have a cup of that tea! Wonderful picture!

I love the way you captured the situation I really can see the relief of drink a hot tea in that cold place! The composition and the colors and poses you choose are just splendid and recreates a very comfortable scene in contrast with its weather! Outstanding

Это просто иллюстрация к выдуманной фэнтезийной истории. Как "Серебряная снежинка" Андрэ Нортон, только без особенных отсылок к реальным событиям. Костюмы - сборная солянка, это должна была быть смесь традиционной монгольской, тибетской и китайской одежды. Так что тут никакой претензии на историзм и достоверность)

Спасибо за ответ! Даже немного жаль, потому что кажется, что все художественные картины по историческим событиям рисовались только в эпоху возрождения.

Отнюдь) Сейчас, конечно, реализм только лет 15 как начал отвоевывать былые позиции, но тем не менее, если вы зададитесь целью, то найдете картины посвященные даже современным событиям. Другое дело, что сейчас подобное не совсем востребовано.)
Но, поверьте, историческая живопись одним Возрождением не ограничивается.)
Что касается меня, то я не корифей живописи, чтобы на такие сюжеты посягать.

A great piece of art. Excellent composition, detail and people aare almost photoreal, the faces are real. It takes to viewer back to another time and place. Maybe the Mongolian Steppe in the 13th century? Is it part of a story?

No, it's not a part of real story, it's a fiction.) Like "Imperial Lady: A Fantasy of Han China" Andre Norton, but without historical reference)
It must be alternative reality with mixed asian traditions - and a lot of fiction 8))) Just for fun to create something new from known facts) Asian folklore is only a base)
