I'm so incredibly sad that I never got to see the Notre Dame in person before this tragedy happened.

I did this while the cathedral was still burning. It was a really depressing and sad show.
I am positive in the hope that Notre Dame will rise again even more beautiful. You can take the occasion to visit it after the rebuilding is done !
I know you didn't enjoy your previous journey to France. Maybe you can give it a new try! Notre Dame will be worthy
I'm happy that my drawing communicated a feeling. I care a lot about it, so thank you again for supporting me

I hug you and your compatriots with all my heart
I will donate as much as I can, because it is something that the whole world care about! France will not be alone in the rebuilding
Of course Notre Dame will rise as beautiful as it was and even more.

Paradossalmente, la disperazione di chi ha assistito direttamente e indirettamente alla scena mi è sembrata qualcosa di (passami il termine) buono e autentico, soprattutto in confronto a quanto detto da certi critici d'arte secondo cui non c'è molto da piangere, "tanto è tutta ricostruita". Questa disperazione è il segno che l'identità culturale c'è e si sente oltre qualsiasi barriera...
