Same, she was the only one of the three girls with an actual "real" personality that I liked. Kallen was too vengeful and predictable, C.C. we know the reasons of her actions... but Shirley, she was totally unexpected what she would do for Lelouch... I could also say she had no more reason other then loving him to do anything else for him if she stayed alive that is...

Yeah, that and her life is more finite than C.C. whom is immortal ya know lol. So it's more meaningful to give up one life you have then many... Those are my reasons why I liked her in the anime, and it struck such a chord with me when she died.
