Personality:

    Amber is generally an easy going individual. Emotionally strong and bold. She’s strong willed and does not give up easily even if the odds are completely stacked against her. She can be upfront and occasionally aggressive and over the top in what she does, as is the nature of being a Tiger Shark. Amber is loyal to to individuals who she considers friends and family. Honest to people who she feels deserves it. She is often seen with serious and professional demeanor, but when around friends she loosens up and will occasionally joke. She can be very stubborn and opinionated. She is often vain of how she looks, taking excessive time to mind her looks, take care of herself, minding personal hygiene, and regularly hitting the gym, and with that Amber will occasionally show off what shes got to whom she feels are close to her.

Appearance:

    Amber stands six foot and three inches and weighs somewhere around 180 pounds by no means is she fat. She happens to be surprisingly strong with an athletic build. Her tail is thick and strong like that of most sharks. Some would say she's almost Amazonian in appearance, tall, strong, and beautiful. She has medium length brown hair on her head with lighter brown highlights. She has two thin and pointy fin-like ears with various piercings in each. Her dorsal fin is pierced with a chain that loops from the tip to the bottom.

Background:

    Amber was raised as an orphan by a high class family of vulpines. As such she never really knew many others of her own species, often she was surrounded by mammals and never even knew another shark. As she grew up, living with a different species has taken a bit of a toll. She often felt a bit ostracized growing up and being surrounded by mammals she felt that she could never reach their standards of beauty. She often felt that she never quite fit in with her classmates. Despite trying to fit in, Amber was always taller, stronger, and occasionally very intimidating. She was never bullied or picked on, but she was occasionally found instigating fights. Despite this, she did very well in her classes and by no means was she considered unintelligent. She has always been quick on her on her feet mentally and physically.

    Her father owned a lucrative business dealing with body modifications ranging from nanomachines, implants and cybernetics. A new frontier that started sweeping over the rich nation they lived in. Working closely with the father through her teen years, she learned how to be an effective businesswoman and opportunist, in addition to learning quite a bit about cybernetics and nanomachines. During her later teen years she received a few implants to enhance her body, particularly enhanced sight, hearing, and a variety of other, possibly cosmetic implants, although she would never admit it herself.

    At the age of 19, being the rebellious teenager she was, had no desire spend her life running her father’s business. Amber left home and joined the PMC corporation Maelstrom Dynamics. This group was well known for it’s use of technology and questionable method of action in the field. Upon joining she was introduced to nanomachines, giving her superior agility, reflexes, and regenerative properties, and eventually recruited into the Orbital Drop Shock Trooper squads, a unit primarily populated by sharks. This was the first time she ever had contact with her own kind, besides from rarely seeing them as a child. Amber was well known in the group for use of clever tactics which often got her squad out of tight situations and her ferocity in combat. She quickly rose through the ranks, being well known for her leadership, loyalty, and care for her subordinates to where she was soon leading their top tier ODST specialist squad. She was a valuable member of the group up until they disbanded.

    Soon after Maelstrom Dynamics disbanded, Amber went back to her roots and became a weapons merchant, selling firearms to law abiding citizens who enjoyed using them for sport and hunting. Eventually her business was shut down due to absurd and ridiculous regulations preventing her from selling the weapons as a civilian. Angry that her legitimate business was shut down, she quickly took up smuggling exotic high-tech weapons and equipment from sources outside the mega city she lived in. It was rumored in the underground that she knew where Maelstrom Dynamics stashed their weapons when they dissolved. Smuggling was an extremely lucrative and dangerous career, often putting herself in precarious situations, getting into restricted areas, dealing with criminals. But she has always been close to it, putting herself in harm's way was not new to her. She often dealt with rebels and hitmen, but on the very rare occasion raiders and thieves were also her clients.

    Eventually she fell into a trap set by an upcoming group of raiders who were following the rumor. She got tricked by entering simple arms deal by a ‘friend of a client’. She was caught in an ambush by the raiders, they managed to tranquilize her, capture her, and drag her back to their camp in the wastes, to where they kept her muzzled and tied up in a steel cell, she was unable to escape. She was rescued by Shark Company, a relatively new PMC group run by Sam Saiga, and was offered the position as their ‘Quartermistress’ and Head of Security. She eagerly took the job especially with it being far better pay than smuggling weapons. She soon found herself among more of her kind and people who she considered friends, family, and loved ones. Amber easily considered the Shark Company base her home.
