The grey unkept hair, and the shadowing and lines on and around his head lend a grizzled feeling to this character that really helps. Β In addition his cuirass almost looks like it is made of wood which adds to the effect. Β I really like the straightforward design on the mace.

This one aged through playing...if you get my drift...
I've had him since the 2nd edition....!!!!
He is my favourite Character and one i reverently retired and used in later campaigns as a "deus ex machina" or as quest giver...

Funny thing about him as he progressed in levels is, starting around 13 level(by 2nd edition standards its like 18-19 in 3d)he flourished his mace only as a precaution... for about 3 levels thereafter he didnt swing it even in foul temper....everything was spells and skills...I took him from 1st level newbie to 19!!level(remember 2nd ed...)chosen of Lathander...Thats quite a trip for a player and character...Thank you so much for the fave btw....

wow... awesome!
my best character was a thri-kreen psyonik. played him from lvl 1-17 in D&D 3.5! :-/

favourite class, favourite race. It was so much fun, because he was totally maniac, wrong skilled and the race and class combination didnΒ΄t rally work together.

In the preliminary sketch he was supposed to have a barrier shield of sorts in his left arm thats why he seems to try to stop something invisible outside the frame... maybe i'll get around and paint it one day....Remember everything you see is watercolor...and the cheap stuff they sell at bookstores...

Looks like a cleric to me. Real clerics know how to kick some arse. (:
