Let's face it, Timon's chances of actually living where slim to none. Poor Ma lost her son, and for all she knew it could have been the last time she ever saw him again. Course, we all knew he'd be just fine
"I'm never gonna fit in here. Nobody... even likes me! I have to find my place... but it isn't here." Timon took hold of his mother's paws and smiled "I'll be Okay"
"Oh, I know you will...you will." his paws slowly slid out of his mother's as he gave her one last smile.
It took me awhile to actually set this up. I had the idea, but putting on paper turned out harder then I thought. In the end i'm pretty happy with the lay out and shading.

This is a very good TLK 1 1/2 scene. I prefer Timon with Ma, over Pumbaa. For This reason.

I'm curious over what happened to Timon's past, considering I have only seen the first Lion King film, but this has worked really well when it came to the overall concept. ^_^ God bless him... O.O

Actually, there are two storys of Timon's past. Which makes it very confusing. The one from the movie where he kept screwing up (kept braking all the tunnles), un able to fit in with the others in his colony. After failing at his post to watch for hyena's (he broke into song) he left his colony to follow his dream to find a better place.
And
The T.v show version, Timon was to stand guard at meerkat colony but he had better things to do. He was in love with the meerkat dukeยดs daughter, princess Tatjana. He dacided to visit her at home while the duke was away. So he left his post. While he was having a shower a big snake entered the colony trough the back entrance and kidnapped Tatjana. Everyone, including her father, thought that the snake killed her, and Timon got banished. 
He lost his way in the jungle and got caught by hyenas. In the hyenas cave he first met Pumbaa who got caught by them too. Together they escaped the cave and became friends. One day they saw the snake with Tatjana and she was still alive. After they rescued her they all returned to the colony. The duke invited Timon to live in the colony again and offered him everything he ever wanted to have. Tatjana had a big crush on Timon because he rescued her and she asked him to marry her. But there was one big problem. Timon wanted Pumbaa to live in the meerkat colony but the duke didn't like warthogs, so he was not going to allow it. Timon had to make a decision. Getting everything he ever wanted to have, including Tatjana, or beeing Pumbaas friend and live a life as an outcast.
