has been a hot second since i actually drew anything at all.. ive got like 600+ hrs on splat3 already so of course i had to get around to drawing my little guy Eventually........ fairly simple one tho since i just wanted a portrait to include on a silly little template. still, given how difficult of a time i tend to have drawing clothes from this game and how much this hairstyle specifically stumps me fsr, i pulled it off for once!!! so i still think thats pretty nice :]

this outfit is sooooooo sad bc i feel like a lot of ppl tend to gravitate towards the zekko hoodie and Everyone loves the octoglasses, so! it feels so generic... but it is still a bit special to me bc it was my favorite outfit in splatoon 1.. only difference is i used octoling boots instead of the arrow pull-ons, but the boots were Only in 1 so compromise has to be made (also the pull-ons come w drop roller and i am hopelessly dependent on that ability at this point)

thought abt doing blue ink as well since my squid pretty much goes by blue now (bc it is my name too but shh) and so. yk. blue.. blue ink... but i couldnt find a blue that i liked/regularly occurs in-game to begin with so i did purple bc. well i like it + kiiiinda a halfway between the outfit (red) and blue still.. also probably won't keep the exact same color 4 him in any future drawings anyways.. more fun to keep variety to that part
