RoF - Dean, Diego, Alfinn*Warning: (Pretty) slight language*
It was well after sundown when the party finally stopped for the day. Jorah swung down from his saddle, and Alf just about grunted in relief. His back hurt from the constant weight. His paws were sore from the hard ground. God damn, everything hurt, and his lousy handler did nothing but sit up there all day while the tokota did the work.
I wonder if those booties some of those prissy dogs wear would really look that ridiculous on me, he thought.
Unbridled at last, Alf collapsed with a heavy thump. He began grooming himself, licking away the caked debris on his legs and paws first.
Around him, the camp slowly rose from the ground. The three men unsaddled the other two tokotas, a haughty male named Dean, and a quieter, reserved one dubbed Diego. For the most part the three canids had kept to themselves.
This time around though, already the fourth night in to their excursion, Diego came sauntering up in Alf’s direction.
The slightly taller

The journey was long and difficult, but Diego 2215 completed it quickly and without fail. Injuries were acquired by neither tokota or rider. A job well done.
