Rite of the Hunt Entry:  RotH - Caribou TroubleGoldanna (Goldi) - Ridden by HansenArulia (Aru) - Ridden by Sakari
The third and final test finally came around, the rite of the hunt. The different groups went on different days for this event, and the first day was caribou hunting. The group of participants was smaller this time since there were so many different prey choices and some chose to hunt other days for the prey of their choice. Hansen and Sakari met among the small group of hunters waiting to be let out to start, Hansen being followed by Goldanna, and Sakari once again riding Arulia. No flirty males this time to bug the two ladies and slow them down as they hunted. Goldanna wore a nice leather saddle on her back, shiny and black with a blue blanket underneath it. The blanket was lined with black, highlighting it. The bridle was black, a thick forehead piece holding a silver piece with intricate markings, blue stitches and swirls in the side leather. A black leather chest piece hung on the front, a wing pattern in blue
PASSED with Excellent score.
The caribou stood no chance against Goldanna 4075. Injuries were acquired by neither tokota or rider. A job well done.

The second test came around, a sort of event taking place in the fall, across the wilderness of Alaska. Handlers got into groups of up to three, for the five day journey across the wilderness. Isabelle, Hansen, and Sakari teamed together for the long trip ahead, meeting at the starting point. Many groups were already there, tokotas prancing on the spot in excitement or laying around as if they did not want to go. Handlers were double checking their bags and supplies, as well as making sure the tack was on properly. The three handlers were followed by the tokotas they were riding for the test. Hansen was followed by Goldanna, a lovely snow roan with blue eyes, a nice leather saddle on her back, shiny and black with a blue blanket underneath it. The journey was long and difficult, but Goldanna 4075 completed it quickly and without fail. Injuries were acquired by neither tokota or rider. A job well done.

Rite of Merit Entry:  RoM - Looking GoodGoldanna (Female) - Handler: HansenArithil (Male) - Handler: Isabelle
Many arrived at the large stadium early in the morning to get ready for the show. The trees lining the property were all a golden brown as fall was well under way and leaves were starting to fall. It was quite some time till the show began later that day, around noon, but the contestants wanted to arrive early to sign in and more time to prepare their tokotas. Tokotas in all shapes and sizes were arriving, either being ridden by their handlers, being led by them, or some even coming by truck and trailer. One half of the large building was stalls that were filled with tokotas being brushed and groomed. Tokotas and their handlers were coming and going, chatter was heard all around and it was loud as they all got prepared.
Isabelle led Arithil into their stall, closing the gate behind her. She rode him there and had to remove the tack, sliding the saddle off and removing the bit-less bridle from his face. She put them o
PASSED with excellent score.
Goldanna 4075 was focused and alert, with flawless conformation and a good attitude. Injuries were acquired by neither tokota or handler. A job well done.
