Rite of fortitude entry:  Rite of Fortitude (Azalea, Lyall and Yamaha)The morning brought with is a crispy, cold like feel. Winter was in full swing as a light blanket of snow covered over what had melted away the previous day. Sounds of crunching paws and huffing noses filled the air as four figures emerged from the tree line. Garett was leading the group this time as a tightly gripped leather covered hand held onto the reins of his mount Azalea. A thick fur coat covered his body while the rest of his clothing look similar to what mountain climbers would wear. Overnight bags on both his back and his Tokotas’ saddle were neatly packed out with supplies that they would need for the next few days. While most Rites of Fortitude tended to be easier during the spring or summer months the handler had decided to ignore the Winter weather and push to complete Azalea’s task. The female could easily survive such weather. He as well. It was the two that had followed them that had Garett wondering if they could make this trip. Ryan and his mount Yamaha f
PASSED with average score. 
Yamaha 7976 and (his/her) rider completed the journey without many difficulties. Injuries were acquired by neither tokota or rider. A job well done.

Rite of Merit entry:  Rite of Merit (Azalea and Yamaha)It probably wasn’t the best idea to have one such as Azalea hunting. Really, the idea of her catching anything on this trip seemed a high impossibility. Why had this particular merit been chosen for her? The one merit that had the Tokotas hunting a prey. Unlike most who would have taken the easy path, it didn’t seem to bother Garett one little bit. Even when Azalea whined and grumbled as she slowly trailed behind the another Tokotas that was accompanying them during their Rite of Merit. It was time to prove herself just like so many other Tokotas who had done this merit before her. But, at least she had some company, even if the Tokotas had been a bit snippy to begin with. Trotting briskly in front of her a piebald half mane whom was known as Yamaha, led the charge as his red headed handler kept a look out for their marked prey. Earlier they had spotted a stag grazing near one lake banks and after their first attempt to chase it down failed, it seemed to have become persona

The deer put up a good fight, but was vanquished by Yamaha 7976. Injuries were acquired by neither tokota or rider. A job well done.
