Personality: A natural born hunter, Jiàntóu seemed to be born running. Even as a young pup, he brought everything from squirrels to sticks to his owner, happy to be helping. As he grew, he graduated to larger and faster prey, and continued to impress and take down the most majestic animals. He’s relied on by the pack to teach pups to start hunting, and often brings whole groups out on hunts - there is no one who wouldn’t trust him running down prey.
Mentally, Lil A seem a lot like his great grandpa on his mothers side of the family. Towards people and tokotas outside 'his' pack he's often dominating, rude and can even bite if stuff is not going as he want it to. He is very strongwilled, and if the other tokotas in his pack doesn't budge, he's not scared of being rude.

About two weeks after the rite of fortitude, Jiantou and Nathan set out to complete the rite of knowledge, the final rite to complete before Tou could officially be ready to breed. Even though he knew it was going to be a doozy to complete, Tou was practically leaping with excitement, feeling the adrenaline running through his veins and tingling down in his paws. It was early in the morning, probably around 5 or 6 AM, and the sun had yet to totally rise over the trees. [RoF] The JourneyDay 1 - Beginning

Jiantou was not nearly as prepared for this task as the last one, and he flicked his ears flat against his skull as he and Nathan walked side-by-side down the forest path. They would be completing a three hundred and fifty mile trek across rugged lands and natural preserves, which meant they had had to pack ahead for the trip. They would reach a wildlife preserve in about two days time, which meant no hunting, and Tou was worried. He had never been in a situation where he could not hunt before, and the idea of having to face that was worrying. Not to mention, Cato suddenly flickering in and out of existence did not help to calm Tou's nerves. The spirit wolf kept whispering about bad things to come, but refused to elaborate on said bad things. Which was, understandably, driving Tou quite mad. He was getting tired of trying to decipher the spirit wolf's cryptic messages, and so decided to ignore him for a bit while he and Nathan traveled.

Rite of Merit:
[RoM Honor] Jump, Jian!Jiantou was one-hundred percent ready for this. After all of the training, all of the uncomfortable halter shows, all of the hunting accidents, Tou knew he was prepared and ready to complete his rites of fertility. His biggest dream, other than to reach dominance, was to become a father, and now that it was in reach, he was going to perform as well as he could. His muscles quivered with excitement as he and Nathan approached the agility ring, all set up and ready for him to make his way over the jumps.
This was way more than just a special occasion, they both knew that. This was something Nathan and Tou had been preparing for for a long time. They had wanted to try out for the Badge of Honor, which was why Tou had gone through the halter class incident a few months before, but upon finding that was less than pleasurable for him they decided to go with the show jumping option. They would still earn the Badge of Honor, and this way Nathan would not have to drag Tou by the reins to
