Rite of the Hunt entry:  RotH: Forget Geese, Get Meese    Ugh, six days in the saddle. Six. Whole. Days. Mao was sure she had saddle sores on her arse and tail, but there was about a day left of traveling still. When she got done doing this, she was going to take a damn bath and have Grandma Suriel look at her tail, not necessarily in that order either.
Colton was quite used to long periods in the saddle, it was nothing that truly bothered him.  Then again he’d had years to build up the tolerance.  He was more than comfortable at the moment.  However it was Mao that caught his attention.  “Sore, huh?”  He questioned as Calypso moved a few strides ahead to catch up to Mao and Rai.
    Rai stopped walking and looked back up at Mao. “Aroo?”
    “Yeah, I’m fine, just a little stiff, don’t worry boy,” she assured the curly piebald, patting his neck affectionately. He was looking a bit worn out, making her t

Rite of Merit:  RoM: Got Any Three's? GO FISH!    On the morning of the fourth day, Maia yawned, mouth opening wide, and woke up “Rise and shine all my lovely travellers!!” she said standing up and packing her gear up. She put her hands over the warm coals left from the fire the night before, warming her hands up, Sise came over stretching his three legs thinking Maia was cooking food.
    “No boy I'm not cooking breakfast, I think we need to go catch something to cook first though” she said as the albino male plopped down beside her. The bandana on Sise stump had come loose and landed behind Maia, Sise whined at Maia making her aware of it.
    Maia reached around trying to feel for it in the cold snow. “Why is the snow so cold in the morning” Maia said with a huff and puff, finally she turned her head and actually looked to find the bandana that was stuck to her back. She manoeuvred to his stump and began tying it back on making it co

    From her position atop Raiko, Maoriel Moreau looked down at the curly male who had rolled a yellow eye at her. “What?” The eye narrowed as the albino male whined, telling them they weren’t fast enough. Sise had only three legs and he was walking faster than she and the graying tawny piebald. “Coming Sise,” she called reassuringly, keeping the three legged Tokota in her range of sight.
   
    Sise the three legged albino tokota never looked at his stump as a disability but more so as a challenge he had learned to tackle early on in his life. He was quick for a three legged and was very eager to go back to his tribe. He barked at Mao and Raiko to hurry as he just wanted to go already, obviously not knowing a rider was needed to take him home.
