The cream male would make a decent pack animal for the trip, because he knew that Pagan wouldn't be able to carry too much while bearing a rider. They were going to need to stick together to survive the trip, and while he and Alaina knew what they were doing, Russell was probably pretty damn new to the whole survival in the outdoors thing. Probably.
It called for extra preparation so they could be absolutely positive they were getting enough for them to survive off of. Russell would need more warmth probably, and a good tent. He had those, and he was sure that the others had packed things too.

spectrum [RoK]It had almost certainly been a while since Alaina had been able to be out and about. While this wasn’t a hunting or fishing expedition it was something rather important too… it was time for at the very least Victory to get his rites. The black tokota beneath her wasn’t in particular entirely comfortable with being ridden yet, shifting a bit, but he certainly remained calm enough… glancing back towards the others as the trio moved along towards the breeding grounds with the intention of completing the first rite.
The terrain in and of itself was quiet. It was the first sunny day that had been around in quite a long while – the winter storms had set in within the last few weeks and had dumped only more and more snow on the heads of the little village tucked away at the foothills of the vast mountain range. It was a rather nice change in pace – the sun loomed overhead, not quite warm enough to actually melt any significant amounts of snow but enough to
PASSED with Average score.
