Description *HiddenCaitastrophe and I had an art party last weekend and this is the end result! We have goggles!!!! *does dance* We started with a basic tutorial- [link] and we went from there doing whatever we liked.

I painted mine teal, because I can. I have teal leather gloves that match which you can expect to see in a future steam punk stock shoot. I am really proud how these came out. I expected to have to remake a second set after trial and error with the first.

The one thing I would like to add, would be from the tutorial. They lined the inner goggles with sheep wool. I don't know where to find that! But it's a great touch. Maybe just tear up some cotton balls? Any recommendations?

Made with:
Bell glass jar lid rings
Vinal plastic for lenses
Leather-like material from a disected purse
And old belt
Assorted metal studs and iron on decorations

I used a belt for the strap and painted it blue. Β For the goggles part I gutted a faux leather purse and painted it to match.

Lol the plastic was the hardest part! We spent a lot of time looking for possible options. It's actually the vinyl bag my bed skirt came in! So it's completely malleable and easy to cut, and I just super-glued it as taught as possible. I'm so glad you like it!

I think both of ours are awesome! Just different. I love the stitch detailing on yours.

I was surprised, because you can't really see the new hair cut from these angles. Opps?

Yay!! That was what I was going for. I blotched the paint around making it thicker in some spots than others.

Awwwwww! *huggles* You're so sweet!
