Theyre pretty simple and make great first papercrafts. The PokeDolls were some of my first models, but I had to go back and rebuild them once I got better ha: [link]

I wanna make PaperPokes too, but, i don't know how. Can you teach me? I need the specific paper used, the method, and i wanna know how you guys make the color exactly alike like those things in the game.
Thanks

I use cardstock, print out the templates found on the paperpokes website, then glue each tab to its appropriate spot.

It's just a simple matter of gluing paper together. If you want to build your own, you can print the templates from here [link]

TouchFuzzyGetDizzy In reply to ServerLoad15 [2010-06-16 19:28:11 +0000 UTC]
Yeah sorry. Um, I would say review the .pdo and find angles that are *supposed* to be there (like think of what the real-world object would look like and if it makes sense to have a sharp angle at that point. If yes, score the fold. If no, don't and you'll get a smoother result. It really comes down to preference.
As for printing, I always use cardstock. It's a little thicker than normal paper but I like to be able to pick up my models (regular paper is too fragile to handle). Also, I print about half a page a few times to try different print settings to find the color I like.

Impressive. How long did the hardest Pokemon take you?
👍: 0 ⏩: 1
TouchFuzzyGetDizzy In reply to Nintendraw [2010-04-29 20:34:07 +0000 UTC]
Honestly, none of them were very difficult. The one that took me the longest was Weedle, just because all of the tiny and flimsy parts; I had to wait for the glue to be completely dry before adding the next one and so of course it took a lot of time.
