Build/Body type: Cadmus is bulky—quarter-back, not quite weight-lifter.

Other defining features/extra anatomy: His upper-body is slightly more developed than the rest of him—nothing eye-catching, but there if you look close enough.

Clothing: Khakis and button-down shirts. Loafers. Sometimes open sandals.

--Physical: Movement--
Gait/Demeanor: Cadmus moves usually in a staid manner, and, at times, with a certain type of heavy grace that isn’t very pleasant to the eye, mostly because it’s often prelude to a rare burst of anger. He’s quieter than Harmonia, and far more scholarly than his appearance suggests.

Voice/Speech patterns: A low voice, very modulated, and often with a formal diction.

--Personality--
Loves: Reading obscure things, cooking. Surreptitiously, Harmonia.

Hates/Fears: The fact that he’s consistently lying to his parents, and that he has put his closest friends in danger a lot.

Strengths: Ponderous as he seems, Cadmus can move surprisingly fast. And the promised strength is, in fact, present.

Weaknesses: Cadmus has an aggressive streak a mile wide, and it scares him enough that he tamps it down a little more than he should, thus often eschewing violence till it’s desperately needed.

Attitude in a group: The muscle. Also the alpha, though he feels no need to assert this. The caregiver as well, and often feels like he’s parenting the other two, neither of whom have any real concept of how to manage on their own, Alex courtesy his mother and then Jason, Harmonia because of her wealth..

Fortitude: Built like a brick wall, got the staying power of one. Cadmus endures, constantly, consistently, and beyond reason. It’s served him well in a war he was supposed to be canon-fodder for.
Love: Love as virtue doesn’t quite get through to Cadmus. Those he loves are his, it isn’t a favour or a gift, love is possession.

He stayed awake in history class.
He sincerely likes helping grade papers for undergrads.
He hates chocolate.
He liked his last name till he found out who most famously held it; now he’s a bit embarrassed.
He once wanted to be blond, blue-eyed and Nordic. The feeling passed.

--History/Background--
Setting: Now, maybe not quite here.

Family: His grandparents immigrated (from Pella and Thebes) during the post World War II troubles in Greece. They’re… extremely traditional, and Cadmus and Europa (yes, they’re also masochistic, and he’s just waiting for Europa to elope or start indulging in bestiality) had it beaten into their heads that they’re Greek first. His parents and sister still live in Shropshire, and wonder why he doesn’t visit more often. The penury of a college grad hasn’t quite sunk in, he doesn’t know why; they went through the same phase themselves.

Friends: Harmonia, perhaps, though the correct label is ‘have-a-crush-but-it’s-hopeless-and-she’s-not-half-bad-once-she-stops-acting-like-a-bimbo’. Alex, on the other hand, he’s genuinely close to, despite a rather uninspiring introduction. But combat friendships are always closer than normal ones, and that first year has bound all three of them pretty close. He wouldn’t be able to survive living in the same flat as those two, otherwise.

Backstory: Cadmus had had a humdrum life till he entered Oxford. Then came Dr. Theo Sous. And Dr. White. And the Drs. Onassis. And, of course, Alex and Harmonia. And the Others, and a war he’s still not sure how he survived. He’s finished his taught masters, and is starting on an M.Phil thesis.

--Combat--
Fighting Style: Avoid physicality till the last possible moment, and then keep pushing till nobody’s left standing (doesn’t much care, then, whether it’s him who’s down, or the other).

Weapons/Gear: Broadsword in a leather sheath ‘round his waist. Huge back-pack, with a couple changes of clothing for everyone, non-perishable food, couple litres of water. First-aid kit with extra bandages. Fleece blanket. Quarter-staff.

Unusual Abilities: 3. Cadmus fights alone. Basic strength, no frills. He can keep Alex and Harmonia out of his head when they’re only probing casually, but that’s mostly because he’s insanely private, or, according to Harmonia, ‘bloody stubborn bitch, now I have 1980’s rock stuck in my head. Arsehole.”

Physical Attributes: More than apparent strength, an ability to keep fighting till beaten to pulp.

Group combat techniques: He’s the heavy artillery of the team.

Team: Alex Phillips. Harmonia Love. Cadmus Amyntoros. Cadmus is sheer muscle, while the other two are mostly mental manipulation. Not one of the three really trusts firearms.

Other: Cadmus has his reservations (someone has to be sensible, and he’s usually the adult) but he couldn’t very well have let Alex or Harmonia skip off on their own.
