Your scenic photos are wonderful and breathtaking, but this one of an oncoming storm is quite different and fascinating. If I was there I think I would be prepared to get drenched or blown off the mountain!

Thanks, there was quite the storm that hit us about 2 that morning!

Can't believe I let this one slip by. Great colors and I enjoy the composition, though I could see shooting at a higher level and angle the camera down despite losing some of that nice sky. Still very nice. Gotta love bad weather!

Thanks Peter, it seems the comp isn't spot on, but it was a pretty cool scene to witness. I loved it until later on when the lightning started flying!

I would have loved to see some lightning shots from this spot, but I imagine that wouldn't be the safest thing to be doing up there.

This is quite enchanting. It reminds me of something one would see in a Final Fantasy game.

I played one way back in the day, I think the character's name was Cloud Strife, and Barrett or something like that. Cool game!

This for me is a classic example of including a foreground when no foreground was required. Everything but the foreground is great, perfect even, but the rock is too substantial in my opinion and it totally dominates the image. Alex

I appreciate that, by far my favorite time to shoot is in bad weather like this.

The shot is really great, but I don't like the arrangement of copyright. It destroys the impression by light ang clouds - the general part of the image, actually.

I don't really like it either, but unfortunately there are art thieves out there!

Therefore I don't talk about the copyright itself - only the arrangement.) If you move it somewhere (for ex, to the lower right corner), it's function would be the same, but it wouldn't affect the impression.
