Or you could call him, “Mago Burattino,” for Italian. Valdo was a respected Puppeteer, Crafter, and Performer. He loved showing his greatest projects to the children. People at his Hometown in Ragusa, Sicily, Italy loved his work. The children loved him especially. Valdo himself loved children as well. He wanted a Family of his own, but he could never make time for settling down. He even had an admirer named, “Silvestro.” Valdo adored Silvestro. He even made him a puppet to keep. Sometimes, he would notice poor Silvestro get picked on for playing with a puppet. Luckily, Valdo makes them go away.
One day, Valdo was having a little bit of trouble with funding to keep his business going. He then spoke with a very sketchy looking man who said that he could help him with his financial problems. Little did Valdo know, this man was working for a Sicilian Mob. He declined his offer.
When he found out about the Mob, he somewhat found Intel that Silvestro and his Family were borrowing money from them. They were doing this because, Silvestro was sick. More trouble came as he was being threatened by the Mob. The next day, Valdo was approached by Silvestro’s Older Brother. He told him that Silvestro’s illness was growing worse. He then made a rash decision to getting the money needed for his debts. So he sold his Puppets and earned the right amount of money needed. He was about to meet up with the mob. When all of a sudden, he saw that the Family’s house was trashed. He went into the House and found that Silvestro and his Family were murdered! He found a note in the mouth of the destroyed puppet that was given to Silvestro. It said:”You should’ve accepted our offer! Let this be a warning to you, Valdo Baroncelli. Your Shop and Theater are next!” He realized the Mob was the cause.
He raced back to his Shop and Theater, which was also his home. When he got there, it was on fire. He lost everything. Stricken with rage, he found out that he could possess things. This gave him an idea. He hunted down the Mob, possessing them and making them commit suicide and kill one another. Valdo went into a symptom of madness, thus leaving Sicily and sailing to New Orleans joining the Supervillain organization.
