(WARNING: You are about to enter the Magitech counterpart to Kamen Rider Ryuki/Kamen Rider Dragon Knight. Keep in mind, for this saga, the thirteen Kamen Riders have been demoted to eight Magitech users. I will also deminish some more numbers when I get to my Kamen Rider Hibiki counterpart. You have been warned. You good? Great.)

The Story of Ifrit (Phoenix, Arizona - 2001)
Ever look in the mirror and realize things are not what they seem? No, really, that's not exactlty what you think. Beyond this world is a near replica of Earth. Specifically, those who have that power to enter this "Mirror Earth" can access entry through anything with a clear surface, such as a mirror, a window, and even water. This "Mirror Earth" has no government policy, and is ruled by the wicked mirror queen, Narcyssa. But it is rumored that one soul can collect the spirits of seven Element Spirits to seal her away permanently. To one that's getting used to it, or first time hearing it, one may think it is absolutely ridiculous. And that is what Jen Cahill thought. A high school sophomore, she was a straight A student who had absolutely no interest of being chosen. Unless if it was for something school related. She's smart, quite direct, but at times get confused about what to do next. That was until... she found a strange device which looked like a red-colored wallet. In it, she had seen a deck of cards. But they weren't for playing or trading, they had certain words on them such as "Bond", "Spirit Boost" and "Elemental Finisher". And when she saw an image of a phoenix staring back at her... she'd seen enough for one day.
The next day, while walking home from school, she was apprehended by the up and coming pop recording artist, Mayim Del Agua. She told her that strange card deck holder was called the "Bond Deck". Before Jen could ask her about it, Mayim replied:
"If you make a bond with that phoenix, you'll wind up in a similar situation where I am. For all the wrong reasons."
Jen was utterly confused of this, but apparently Narcyssa's monsters had it different. One breached into her world, and grabbed Jen's arm, dragging her into it. Mayim followed her into the Mirror Earth as her Magitech alias, Magitech Mermaid. While she doing battle with clawed demon, Jen thought that the best choice for her was to hide until all this subsides down... or if she knew this was a dream. The visions of the Phoenix Spirit kept calling out to her. She could take no pressure anymore, and thought that Jen might be a worthy hope for these worlds... Jen thought about it, and even though she knew she was running a risk that may cost her own life, she couldn't run forever. She pulled the card marked "Bond", and inserted into the slot. The Phoenix Spirit became one with her, and she became a Magitech user too. Now she's in this real deep. And the only way out is to trust Mayim and get to the bottom of all of this.
