Description
Continuation of the Chapel/Claudia character studies, here are some mood/environment pieces from the Steampunk "Once Upon a Time in the West"; retitled "HELLFIRE" for the purpose of this project (reminder: pulp fiction).Parameters were two colour, two b&w per study. These were done with black Pentel brushpen, then detailed/coloured/edited in photoshop.
Also, the steamrail engines ARE meant to be huge. XD

They are insanely huge o_O They loom. I really like how there's two day/night views here. I think...my fav is the color day one, I may be influenced by Wildarms...but I really like the texture on the ground in that one. and the greens in the sky.

Yeah, slowly learning that colour can be completely non-representational without the thing turning into a surrealist painting. XD
This was definitely my favourite one...everything just magically aligned. ^^
