Well here's my take off Alvin-Earthworm's Super Mario Bros Z comic. I just changed it to an X. Storyline is all mine. Thinking about doing a TON of these....or at least until i die. Why? Well because it's epic and I love Mario.
Don't COPY or recolor it WITHOUT my asking me. I don't bite. At least I won't if you ask me.

Yeah, the starting a story part is always the toughest part with me.
How do you make those comics, especially with those backgrounds? I have some backgrounds in my sprite collection, and they can be huge.

It's all about cropping them down to the right size....well, picking out a spot in the background you want to use. I do this stuff in Paint....for now......but I'm experimenting with it in GIMP. So far it's better. Might feel comfortable doing them in there very soon.

Thanks a bunch. I will have a lot of stuff sooner rather than later. One this tablet come in....I'm going to have so much fun with nintendo stuff and creating my own personal dragon creation. Comics I think will stick to sprite for a little while.

Takes practice. You could venture over to for inspiration. Heck I want to eventually draw a Spyro with that same style.

You can get that good....just takes a year or two experimenting and practice. I'm trying to get that good.
