Description I thought I'd get into practice for cosplaying Needle Woman from PZ3, but seeing as I currently lack most of the bits and bobs, I improvised...
Why am I so infatuated with blindness?? Hmm. I think there's something very sexy about blindfolds.
...It's not easy to photo yourself while wearing one.

Brilliant! It feels like PZ, but there's something about the composition that reminds me more of the Towel-Headed ghost that appears in the videotape in Ringu. Well... without the towel, obviously. hehe

Within certain contexts, blindness fascinates me as well. The loss of sight is something visceral and forces greater feeling. Sometimes, it almost seems like those who cannot see actually have greater sight. Perhaps this is why it comes up again and again in numerous mythological, occult, and artistic traditions... like blind ghosts, or Odin sacrificing one of his eyes to gain wisdom.

I'm a big fan of Needle Woman. This definitely makes it to my favorites

Hehehe, thank you very much. I have a morbid fascination with blindness too, and that's a good point you made about Odin- it's one of the most significant Norse myths, the one that told of that...
Needle Woman is WONDERFUL. I like her a lot. ^^

I found B&Q and places like that were excellent for rope. Like have some really nice looking stuff from there, all thick and twiny. It looked so awesome and I cannot wait to be seeing more.
