Wow! This feeling just came on i wanted to do something with hack sign and pixel!
No idea where that came from! Lol. Well hope u like, spent two days on this >

Kite was only in one episode of .hack//sign, and he didn't really serve a purpose in that anime. He was however, in some of the .hack video games.
Kite is not to be confused with Shugo, Azure Kite, and Tri-edge.
Judging from the bracelet on this picture, it looks more like Shugo from .hack//legend of the twilight bracelet. ;D

Yep. That's either Kite or Shugo. But to make you feel better there was sort of like an add on episode to .hack//sign called Helba's Gift that has the //sign characters and the characters from the game in it so i guess it could be a little .hack//signish. :

! It's kite! I keep seeing his hair anywhere from blue to green, so that's always odd, but anyways... very nice. Don't think I've seen him pixel styled before, at least not like this. Very good use of detail here.
