Personality/History: Every story has it's beginnings and every legend has it's stories. But myths... well they are another world all together. Among them is the tail of The Beast from Days of Old, also known as Akuma. This mystical Ballator was as elusive as he was legendary, hunters all around the world coming to merely catch a glimpse of his stunning coat and to attempt to claim the stallion as their most prized possession. But... that is where they would find themselves in the greatest danger of all. Those who lived within the Beasts territory would warn those hunters who sought to lay claim to the stallion... "Do not seek to tame Akuma," they would whisper "For he will never be tamed... and you... you will suffer the greatest of curses should you try."

It was an old myth and tale that anyone who sought to tame the wild monster of a Ballator would be cursed and find themselves with endless suffering. And in some cases, many thought the curse to be true. Those who would hunt the ballator would often find themselves prone to bad luck... making camp would result in their campfires seemingly going wild in the middle of the night while they slept, burning down their camps and forcing them to leave. Others would find that their traps would be broken and destroyed within hours of being set... and some would even find themselves with the gory remains of one of the Beasts last hunts in the middle of their camp, guts strewn about as though it were a sign that if they dared... they would end up the same way.

In fact, some hunters would even go missing shortly after they left to go and make their attempt to bring this mighty creature in. One group of hunters that had gone missing within Akuma's territory were found a year after their disappearance... and needless to say it was less than a pretty sight. The Beast of Old had claimed their lives and... the lives of many others... the den of the Beast had been found and the many remains of his victims within. Bones littered the large cave, a variety of bones ranging from the small Asian Mongoose and upwards to the largest of animals the Takin and... sadly, the remains of several hunters who sought to bring him down. The last thing anyone saw of this lair was the monstrous Ballator returning from a hunt... with a fresh kill.

There are many tales and stories about this legendary mythical Ballator known as 'Akuma' to the people who have spoken of him... these stories always growing more vibrant and fantastical with each person and over the years. For very few had seen this Ballator and lived to tell the tale obviously... so some stories spoke of a creature with straight long horns, and massive spined and almost root like horns that curled out from the beasts chin down to the ground... a whip like tail that could crack a tree. And some even went on to say that this creature was capable of goring two common horses at once with it's mighty 'root' like horns. But myths and legends were not true right?

Akuma is a monster when it comes to his personality. He is large, he is beastly and he is more than willing to kill anything that takes a step in his territory. Melekure Stables was lucky enough to manage to bring this stallion in by using the method of a Helicopter and tranquilizing him, unlike those who have hunted him in the past.

Quirks: Akuma is not used to Captivity and thus he is prone to several stressful behaviors including pacing around the paddock that he is kept in. Due to the pacing his grass is usually dead or completely gone in the areas where he has paced around the most. Akuma also froathes or foams at the mouth when under intense stress due to being kept locked up. He is also know to bite, kick and will attempt to gore anyone who comes in his paddock. Due to his nature, Akuma is usually lightly sedated for all training purposes as well as for breeding purposes as the Stallion is a very wild male and will usually become very violent towards a Mare. Akuma's violence towards mares usually will result in the mares being kicked and bitten, dragged around as he roughly puts them into a submissive position. Thus most mares who are bred to this stallion usually leave with bite scars or worse.

Akuma tends to find particular things interesting and in some cases he tends to gravitate towards these things. Horns are a prime thing for him to be drawn towards as they can remind him of the many stories he has heard of himself... other things include white or albino horses because they give him a thought of the moon being a creature rather than a thing in the sky. While he might gravitate towards such things this does not make him any less aggressive or violent in certain situations. He is still a wild, untamed and monstrous beast after all.
