Description Part of my course work, Florence street is the place where i study. First floor, right hand side, second window in from the side. Anyway, this was once a Victorian school house, built at the turn of the 20th century, so it's probably just over one hundred years old. Part of our course was to do a detailed measured survey and from our survey measurements, produce floor plans, internal elevations and this, external elevation of 'Florence Street'. I spent roughly in total 16 hours on this piece. Probably four to five hours on initial pencil work and then the rest on inking the drawing up, with various lines thickness' and foreground and background objects, the lines also vary in darkness (this may not be as clearly visible as it is on the original tracing). Anyway, i do hope you enjoy this piece, i enjoyed doing it.

hey silly. this is amazing and perfection. i don't see why i'm commenting since i told you all of this before, but you obviously have an intensity in your art to work so hard to make this to painstaking scale. i give you much props.

You have every right to be happy with this, man - it's a very nice piece of work. If I didn't already know what building you were studying in, I'd certainly know now! I especially like the detailing on the door lintel (which is probably not the 'proper' term you use ^_^ )
^_^

It's kinda hard to make out whether or not I'm seeing this right, but have you actually drawn individual bricks, rather than just the lines dividing them? If not, it takes nothing from the quality of the image - if you have, that's an insane (and very impressive) degree of attention to detail!
