Personally, I don't find the appeal to cigs but if you like em, enjoy em. It's your choice yo

What I can't believe is there are innocent people out there getting cancer and people who smoke that aren't yet in serious health problems.

I have a friend, his name is harry. He has cancer, and he's 11 years old. 11 YEARS OLD. Never smoked, never drank alcohol, never done anything wrong. That is a cruel thing to have. Yet, there are people who try to kill themselves and everyone around them by lighting up. It's just not fair, your not even gonna bother trying to give up.

P.S. It's not just your life. Second hand smoke causes more damage than you may think.

You shouldn't be proud.>_>
One day, you'll regret that, for sure!
I really can't understand people who are proud of smoking. "Hey, I kill myself and people around me. I'm so proud of myself!"<-- this is what you said.

Thank you! Everyone I know says the same dumb ass thing "You're seventeen, you shouldn't smoke, it causes cancer." oh, really? I had no idea.

Almost everyone knows that smoking causes cancer, emphysema, and heart disease; that it can shorten your life by 14 years or more; and that the habit can cost a smoker thousands of dollars a year. So how come people are still lighting up?

Because of its soothing, clarifying effect on the mind. Incidentally, the stuff you mentioned as "common knowledge" isn't exactly as thoroughly proven as mainstream media would have you believe.

Also, because we enjoy it!
