Description
This took me waaaay longer than I wanted or intendend; kept setting him up for later (or her, cause this one is a female dimorphism version) because of the intention, I was inspired by series of different patterns I have seen on Ring-Necked Pheasants from Peak District and realised that you rarely find birds with a homogenous throughout plumage! I wanted to explore this "theme" on this enormous, barely understood dromaeosaurs (single holotype, this is too frequent occurence in palaeo world)(geology should stop being cruel), its anatomy comes up as a little "hefty". The grey/yellow/red colouration was used as a camouflaging tool in otherwise semi-arid setting.
And I was distracted by my sister playing Uncharted 4. Anyway, I have summer holidays now, which paleo-critter do you want me to draw? Practice and constructive feedback never are a sin.
