Description
Based off of a dream that I had a few years back. The story of it and the character designs have been stewing in my head for so long, but I could never produce anything.But, here you go. The simplest thing I could get from it.
Perhaps some day I'll be able to expand on it the way I wanted to.

The mother would have more intrinsic links to the all. The offspring, a slight fear/awe of the it's parentage. Deducing
the female form as mother in this case rather than the creature symbolizing raw creative nature. yes?

Though that sounds frickin' awesome, sadly no. The giant monster thing is the mother. It's this weird story (again, weird because it was an irrational, illogical dream) with a demon mother giving birth to a half-human girl and this big thing about her needing to kill her and shit...

I can see the repulsion in demon and a 'want to kill' emotion would be one of the natural responses when confronted something outside the norm . Nice piece.

Honestly, though, I'm a big fan of black-silhouette art like this, and black-and-white art in general!
This particular piece of yours is just amazing; the mother 'creature' and the girl...its just so vivid and lucid I suppose, well, at least to me.

Perhaps its just related to my liking of the videogame Limbo, which is in a similar art style....
