EDIT:: Omgggg everyone is asking me how I could draw from that angle. I used a reff ( [link] ) .... Yeah sorry about that lolEveryday... When handing a lollipop... She looks up to the sky like there was no sky before...
It looks really awkwarddddddddddddddddddddddddddddddddddddddddddddd... Thats all I can say lol

I don't think you should apologise for using reference. It is a good way to learn! c:
I believe you can work on the background a bit, perhaps add some flowers to the grass and some pebbles to the pathway? (but really, who am I to talk about backgrounds? I rarely draw them LOL )
Also, her eyebrows are missing. I used to not draw eyebrows as well, but then I learned that eyebrows are really important to convey the emotion of a person.

cute,but your name should not be on her like that it should at the top of the page,the bottom or somewhere on her clothes,unless you like putting it there,and i like the coloring you did,but the eyes are a little too bright,but i still like it and i hope i wasn't too hard with the critique,still i am not that experience so i don't want to say stuff when i am not all that good at drawing/coloring right now anyway.

I think it looks awkward to you because of the position? Remember, the body is made of shapes. You would see more of the top of her breasts, instead of the bottom. You would also see less of her legs, because her skirt is right above it. Try it, look at a water bottle or something, you won't see the much of the bottom. Sorry I can't really tell what angle you were going for QAQ
