You sat at a lunch table next to dave and john. Its been a few months of regular, boring school. Karkat came and sat in front of you, and Sollux next to him. "Whats up, fuckass?" Karkat said to you.
"Nothing much. What about you, Dickface?" you replied calmly and Sollux snickered a little.
"WHAT ARE YOU LAUGHING AT, CAPTOR?" Karkat yelled.
"Nothing kk… your such an athhole." he snickered in reply.
"Shut the fuck up…"
"Whatever, kk. I'll be back." Sollux said and got up.
"Where you going?" You say, curious.
"Going to ask Aradia to go to the Dance." He looked over to the table Aradia was sitting at. Then he approached the table leaving karkat moaning in disgust over yet another thing.
"Whats up, karkitty?" You say with a smile, chewing some of your food.
"It's that damn dance. the winter one. all the girls are being ridiculous."
"Like nepeta?"
His head whipped around. I could see a faint blush on his face. "Shut the fuck up…" He muttered and looked away again. you giggled and looked over at Dave. He looked interested in this dance thing.
"You gonna take someone?" You ask. He seems surprised then returns to his cool manner.
"I don't know. seems stupid." He tried to play it off cooly.
"Yeah right."
no matter what he said, you knew you wanted him to ask you. you had a little crush on him, yet every girl in the school did so you just brushed it off. he could have any girl he wanted, even some boys, so the chances of you being more then friends was unlikely.

Dave's pov:

A dance. That was it- i could tell her at the dance. but how was i supposed to ask her? girls liked to be special. what would be romantic but not fruity? maybe bro could help…

I got home and dropped my backpack on the floor. "Bro! I'm home!"
Bro appeared around the corner. "yo. how was school."
"Good." I said and we just looked at each other for a few seconds. "Bro, i need some help with girls." I said finally.
He smiled. "Come with me." He said and disappeared again. I followed him to his room. He came out with a smuppet. another god damn smuppet. "Here." he shoved it into my arms. "Guve her a smuppet. bitches love smuppets. and if that doesn't work, fins a baby. Bitches love babies too."
"Wait, how do you know that?" He just stayed silent. "Did you use me as a chick magnet?" he slid into his room and closed the door. I sighed and looked at the smuppet. might as well give it a try…
