Here we go, theme 5 for the 100 Fanart Challenge done!The idea behind this was that Zack wasn’t killed and he got back to Aerith. She was still afraid of the sky so he decided to take her to the edge of Midgar and show her it after the rain, just as the clouds were clearing. It was the first time she ever saw the sun so bright and the sky so blue.
I tried to make it look almost as though Aerith could be moving the clouds away (even though she’s not), to reflect her Great Gospel limit break.
