MORE GRUX STUFFS (if yall don't know about this story by now just look back in the gallery haha).
I just decided to do a the classic dramatic scene I always kinda dig up just to experiment with some new colors! It was mainly done as an image to put on one side of my new business cards! So if you ever meet me in person in the near or far future be sure to ask for one! (Cause business cards are totally free haha.)

Will this ever be an actual project, or do you have a website where this series is continued? I mean I'm intrigued, and you only posted 4 pages on DA with no links anywhere where the rest of Grux can be found.

Those 4 pages in themselves were kinda for my portfolio actually and I picked a random concept I had to do an "excerpt" of sorts, but this comic itself I am aiming to do eventually as a full story yes! I don't have a full website for my works yet, but I'm aiming on getting one up next year for sure.

I really like the impression you give off of the blood! I don't want to sound like a creep, being the one person to point that out, but I find it that blood is a tricky thing to show as a substance coating something, instead of just being a different shade in drawings. You do very well to convey that it is actually on top of things, like the claw and the coat. I also really like the effect you have for the monster's eye. It as that strange prism effect that appears both concave and convex, depending how you see it.

No blood is defiantly a tricky thing to render, right up there with fire and water and others. I'm glad you think that it came off well! And yeah Ferdel's ("the monster" as he's known in this picture) alien species only has the one eye to work with so I had to create some fake-biology in how their eyes appear to work in order to simulate depth perception. I.e. the whole trippy prism way they're constructed.

The colors are magnificent and I love the steam coming off from his blood. Which is also wonderful.

SCP Foundation. It's a site/wiki where people make up terrible reality bending beasties and eldritch artifacts. It's supposed to be a secret organization that keeps those things locked up and tries to figure out how to stop/contain/destroy them.

Hahaha, nah. Honestly I just took them from a photo I saw that had an interesting scheme. Coloring is one of my weak points.
