oh my goodness, i am loving the sphericalness to this shot,
haha, it feels like the earth is very very small beneath your
subjects feet, sorta tells it's own story on it's own..

Hmm...the photo.
So technical analysis? Well the framing was chosen excellently. You did well in composing it also. The colour is rich yet dark and moody, and you did a great job of capturing the mood. I love the fact that it's just a tilted silhouette on a hill. Excellent work!

It does remind me of that photo! Haha. Even if it was taken after "Freedom", it's not a problem. It's interesting that we came up with similar photos though. And I believe I was around the same age you are now when I took it (or at least the same stage at school).
I think you should try photographing some different things, you know. Or try photographing what you usually photograph (mostly landscapes and people?) in a different way. It can be very inspiring to look at other photographers for ideas and their approaches to art. Above all, as an artist you are looking to reveal truths about life in your photos, and seeing other photographers that do this well is very helpful. I know it's hard when you're doing the HSC, but even just thinking more about what you are presenting in your art can be beneficial.
