Is not a 1965 Beetle 1300, is a Beetle 1600, circa 1990-2000, imported from Mexico.

Do keep in mind that they were produced since the late 1930s up until 2003. It could be nearly 70 years old just as well as it could be less than 20 years old.
But it's still the original concept, and it's still awesome.

I did once want to plan a trip to Europe, where I would visit a few countries, definitely passing through Germany. But that's a dream I can't quite reach yet. I'm working on it. It's something I might do in a few years with a bunch of friends or something.

Yep. Though it was sold here as a 2004 model. It was kind of a double celebration, because it coincided with the 50th anniversary of VW's operations in the country (they were formally incorporated in 1954, importing ovals and some type II's)
