I've always wo wondered why everyone who makes adopts ways makes 2 versions. A shaded and not shaded, course i guess it's for the pricing.

Any selling advice you could give to a traditional artist over here? It's seems somewhat easy to be because i have doezens of unused sonic oc's just dont know what to price em at.

Ah, unsure. It depends. If your designs are simple (like short hair, a t-shirt with a flower on it and some short and sneakers) I'd recommend a cheaper price. Like maybe ranging around 5-10ish if it's that simple. So if you make it more on the detailed side, take my adopts for example
See the prices? Okay, go to the yellow Hedgehog, then look at the price. For autobuy she's 45, and AB two is 55$ 'Cause she's not as detailed as the others. Not look at the green based ones. The AB is 50 and the AB two is 70! So like I said it all depends if you have simple or detailed.
Now I'm not saying you CAN'T make a simple design a little more on the expensive side. I'm just saying if the simple ones are more cheap, it'll catch more eyes. If it's really detailed and see it's not cheap, they'll more then likely think it's more "worth it" I guess. Again I'm kind of unsure and I'm not the best advice giver, but I tried.

My finished works are very detailed, down to a button a string or a loop in a shoe string if I want it to be. My machine based Oc's have actual parts. Only my sketches and rushed works have little detail along with line works. I'm getting some copic for $200 so I'll be able to sell some full stuff soon. Along with another idea i haven't seen the adopt sellers do yet. Gonna keep that one to myself until i make profit off of it lol.
