A photograph from a trip to a local park.Very few of the trees where in blossom but this one looked stunning.

I'm questioning your use of your focal length, wondering if it couldn't have been slightly longer without giving up the mood you were going for.

Hmmmm, interesting point. The lens I was using was a 50mm fixed length with a 1.8 F-Stop I needed to get the background blur.

Is that 50mm film equivalent or is that 50mm digital (which tends to have a different frame size so it ends up coming out to being the equiv of 100mm film)? I'm assuming film equivalent.
Sorry, I'm used to having variable zoom and macro lenses which lend to a differing composition or... whatever I'm trying to say, words are failing me.
