Even though I prefer other styles of art and types of entertainment, I still consider anime to be art.

The only anime that I really like is Pokemon and it seems that many people don't consider that to be "real anime". I like a bit of Digimon too. Other than that, enh, not so much.

Even so, comments like "Stop drawing anime. Draw real art." frustrate me.
