~ Guardian of Phendrana Drifts ~Well... this is my second work with my tablet. This time I used watercolors instead of airbrush... (I kinda hate airbrush, don't ask)
Compared to my FIRST work with this tablet I think this pic turned out pretty good (god I hate that sentence). I've never painted anything, so I guess this will be my style for a while... I dunno. I cant' decide: Should I "try" to paint stuff like this or stay in that pixel-art... Well anyways, back to subject. Got the idea for this pic from Metroid Prime - surprise. And because I like winter and the depression that comes with it I had to paint something like this. The Guardian is called Thardus. Nothing more to say

i think in this, the perspective, pose, and snow effects are the best things to point out....great job with that bit :3

A lil tip for beating it: Just shoot to the rock that's like blue chrystal. Then when the rock breaks and he raises his fists, turn immediatelly into morph-ball and go near him. When he starts to roll leave some bombs near him and he'll take damage. By doing this you don't ever have to switch to the thermal-visor.

Yeah it did! It seemed as though he took more damage when rolled up into a ball. All I did was fired powered up wave beams at him (while dodging the icy attack thingy) until he rolled. When he turned into a ball, I just used the morph ball and laid (that seems wrong....

I really like the idea of a guardian made of floating stone
I also like the lighting a lot.
THis is really cool because the line work is kinda scribbly (i.e not one solid line) and it looks sketched, yet it is digital.

I never understood the concept behind Thardus... I mean, how exactly is it alive? It's a pile of rocks. I mean, sure, it's charged with Phazon, but that doesn't give things life, does it? o.O It's kind of like how Spider-Man gets spider powers from... a radioactive spider. Radiation isn't as cool as they make it seem. o.o
