The WoT models I use don't have rotating tracks, which suck. But I get more tanks, so I guess it balances out.

I tried using the WoT models in MMD. They're lovely low poly models, but somehow they don't 'belong' in MMD, so I've deleted them.

Do you have any tanks, not ascertaining to any country, that have rotating treads?

It's propably an In-Joke of sorts, but what does "Auf Wiediesen" mean?

I spelt it wrong. It should be: Auf Wiedersehen. It means 'good-bye' in German.

When I was playing around with tanks in MMD I got the caterpillar tracks thing a little other way: for example, I'd like the tracks to move one chain forward in 14 frames. So, I register 0 in frame 0 (for example), 1 in frame 14, then I go to frame 13, register the track facial here and then back to 14 to reset it, then you can copy 1-14 and make a looping motion out of it. It looks smoother, in the video you attached a slight lag of tracks can be seen.
That mine method won't work for 60fps though, since MMD will insert a frame between the second-to-last frame in loop and reset, thus making a jitter too.

The demo video is recorded at 60fps and admittedly there is a little jitter in some segments, but hardly noticeable. Point being is that there's a bit of a 'fudge' factor but it's still an acceptable method. Important thing to note is that it should look credible over the entire sequence.

I know, I just wanted to point out that if you register tracks my way there won't be two subsequent frames where tracks are visually at the same place. Since those facials feature the tracks looking the same both at 0 and 1, it would make sense to have the last-in-cycle Β frame not at 1, but, for example at 0.9 (if you use a 10 frame cycle), or whatever number you get by registering second to last frame after having registered last.
And wait, 60 fps? I use Chrome, have a couple of 60 fps vids myself, but yours won't show "720p60" option, just "720p". Β

Well may be YT did something to the video - no idea why - but it was recorded at 60 fps.
