Description Just a sneak peep at an experimental stage set built for ~GM34 's Pony Tail Express girls.

This was primarily an exercise in building a stage that uses a lot of translucent materials; including a fully functional large size translucent motion capture display (this is located under the main dance area).

It all works beautifully with no draw order conflicts

Notes:
1/. This is a PRIVATE EDITION stage and there are no plans on releasing it for download.
2/. Sorry, but I do not accept requests or commissions. However, I am always opened to suggestions for stage ideas. So, it won't hurt to ask.
3/. About the bunny girls in the picture ...

- I don't know their names; they came in an all Japanese language package
...... - Yuugi Hoshiguma (red outfit)
...... - Yuka Kazami(green outfit)
...... - Ibara Kasen (pink outfit)
...... Identified by ~Lord-Inu-Hanyou and ~Lilium892
(I love the MMD community here - everyone is so helpful)

- Yes they are very nicely made models. Each girl comes in 2 versions
- Please don't ask for a download link, I honestly can't remember. Look on *Xoriu 's blog, they might be listed there.

For an experiment, it came out pretty well. I'm really curious what a skilled videographer like ~GM34 can do with it. He pushes things to the limits so it should be a good test of this new type of staging system.

That my friend, is absolutely stunning.
I am forever grateful and feel confident that the
ladies of the Ponytail Express will enjoy many hours
singing, dancing, and hopefully at times even bringing
a smile to someone who really needed one!

LOL ... I just noticed I left the "Tail" off the title to this page. Oh well , I leave it that way for a laugh.

It should work well. Let's see what you can make of it. If it works out I'll do a general release version (with a different design/theme) so others can have some fun from this type of stage system.

Cheers.

Currently a big thunder storm. I just got in.I think it shows the stage well and was very easy to setup. If your not familiar with the GoGo outfit. I have them well, designated to each models usual color scheme.
My Nee_cam is the 1 shot from start to finish that does this motion justice.

Leaving your PC out in the rain usually isn't a good idea ...

GoGo outfit ... yes I know what those look like:

1/. "Mini-dress/skirt", hot pants, skin hugging pants or similar attire that hugs the body contours
2/. matching top - very often, but not always: tank top/ t-shirt/ cardigan/ man's shirt worn tied at waist
3/. heeled boots (how can you dance in those things let alone walk?)
4/. and usually a belt of some sort (to accentuate the waistline).
5/. Chunky jewellery

GM34 In reply to Trackdancer [2012-07-10 20:41:24 +0000 UTC]

Well, at least the PC is clean now!
Humm,
hot pants = Y
matching top = Y
must see TV = Y

Although they normally dress questionable, they really are good girls. Should be ready in about 30 minutes.

jewellery = N

I still am not so sure if this is a good idea. I guess only time and feedback will tell.

LOL........

I see a great reflection in the floor, it's almost a built in WF2.

That is badly needed cuz I cant figure out how to get it placed correctly.

Pom Poms, why didnt I think of that?
Well, It's not something I often do, just thinking maybe overseas might pick up on it some. I do well with mobile viewers & male 45+ followed by young females.
It's all good until she starts singing...ROFL hehehehe

I get as far as flipping it yo a 90
and see nothing. "as in thats all I even had done" that and size it!
Draw order is new to me, you seem to have a better basic understanding of
MMD "technical in's and outs" than I

I am still trying to fine tune editing and camera. and now playing with lighting.

I guess I've been going in circles and forgot to explore other aspects of the program.
Being a cookie cutter one looses the advantage of gaining knowledge
Thanks again for your help

There should be no mistake about the detail of the stage being used
fits the whole Posse nicely
Should have it up wednesday.
I should save it for friday night
There's that impatient me again.
