a GT with supercar characteristics
(at that time these supercars were what are now hypercars)
It was strange to hear the Supercharger that it had but it was heard, it marked what it is to be a GT with clear characteristics of a supercar and it had a particular sound in its v8, it did not sound flat but it did not make noise either, I would go so far as to say that it sounded like an airplane, mixed with a rare but special Harley, Mercedes is also one of the only European brands to use superchargers in their vehicles, it is incredible to believe that this was actually born from the SL55 and that the SL65 BS was also born from it, turning a normal Sportcar into a supercar

The car's body is made of carbon fiber and features unique styling elements such as its signature gull-wing doors. The SLR was designed to pay homage to the iconic Mercedes-Benz 300 SLR race car from the 1950s.The car was available in several different versions, including a convertible and a limited-edition Stirling Moss edition. The SLR was one of the most expensive cars of its time, with a starting price of over $450,000. Only 2,157 SLRs were ever produced, making it a rare and collectible car.The SLR was featured in several films and TV shows, including "Entourage," "Top Gear," and "Need for Speed."Lewis Hamilton, a seven-time Formula One World Champion, was given a specially customized SLR by Mercedes-Benz as a gift for winning his first world championship in 2008.
